  • Nitrous Oxide Sedation: Also known as "laughing gas," nitrous oxide is a mild sedative that helps you feel relaxed and carefree during your procedure. It's administered through a comfortable mask, and its effects wear off quickly, allowing you to resume your day as soon as your appointment is over.
  • Oral Conscious Sedation: This involves taking a prescribed sedative pill moments before your appointment. It will help you feel drowsy and relaxed, although you'll remain conscious throughout your procedure! The effects of oral sedation last longer than nitrous oxide, so you'll need a friend or family member to drive you home and you may want to plan for some downtime afterward.
  • IV Sedation: For a deeper level of sedation, we offer IV sedation administered by our experienced dentists. This option is ideal for patients with severe anxiety or those undergoing complex procedures. With IV sedation, you'll be closely monitored throughout your appointment, and you'll need someone to drive you home and allow for some rest afterward. We recommend you take the rest of the day to relax and recover. Doctor's orders!
